Brooklyn Beckham gets engaged to Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham‘s fiancée, Nicola Peltz, wore a dress by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, for her engagement photograph.

On Saturday, the 21-year-old photographer announced that he and Peltz got engaged two weeks prior by sharing a photo of the two of them on Instagram.

In the image, which was taken by Brooklyn’s younger sister, Harper, Brooklyn wears a dark blue suit and white shirt while looking lovingly at Peltz, who is dressed in a long, canary yellow dress and holding her fiance’s face.

The couple were photographed standing in what appeared to be a countryside field.

Peltz shared the same photo on her own Instagram page, where fans flooded her comments with congratulations and questions about her gown.

The lemon yellow dress is from Victoria Beckham’s spring and summer 2020 collection and costs £1,450, but has been reduced to £725 on Net-a-Porter.

The gown is described as an asymmetric ruffled silk-georgette midi dress and features a halter design with flowing ruffles, a plunging neckline and a pleated skirt.

In April, the dress was highlighted on Victoria’s own Instagram, where the former Spice Girl wrote: “Fresh colours and fluid silhouettes in motion” in the caption underneath to describe the dress.

Both Peltz and Brooklyn wrote adoring captions to one another in their respective engagement announcement posts.

“You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side,” the Bates Motel star wrote.

“Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so, so much baby and thank you Harper for this pic.”

Underneath her post, Brooklyn commented: “My girl forever. I love you more than anything.”

Meanwhile, in his own post, he wrote: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes.

“I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx.”
