Dolce & Gabbana poke fun at critics of them dressing Melania Trump with 'boycott' T-shirts
They're big supporters of FLOTUS
Whilst many designers have refused to dress her, US First Lady Melania Trump has worn Dolce & Gabbana on numerous occasions.
The designers have embraced Melania, often posting their support for her on social media.
However, the iconic Italian brand have faced a huge backlash for dressing FLOTUS in her official White House portrait.
Many people said they were boycotting Dolce & Gabbana as a result.
But now, the designers are playfully profiting from the fuss by selling “#Boycott Dolce & Gabbana” T-shirts.
Available for both men and women, the T-shirts cost £185 each, so will set you back a pretty penny.
The website also features a short film of a protest against the company, where crowds of people wearing the T-shirt - including Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana - shout and hold placards.
Most recently, Melania was spotted in Sicily for the G7 trip wearing a Dolce & Gabbana floral jacket, with a hefty £40,000 price tag.
Whether you support the designers for dressing FLOTUS or not, it’s hard to argue that that’s not a ludicrous amount of money to spend on a jacket.
