It's a family affair: The Kardashian Kollection has arrived

You may not be reality-TV royalty but you can dress like it, as the Kardashian Kollection arrives on our shores, says Gemma Hayward

Reality TV may be responsible for the notoriety of hundreds of people since the start of the decade, but not all of its stars are created equal. The glitz, glamour and sense of how the other half live that comes courtesy of American imports The Hills and Keeping Up With The Kardashians is offset by the close-to-home embarrassment of TOWIE and Geordie Shore.

When it comes to the Kardashians, the clan was almost destined to be famous, although even mom-ager Kris Jenner could not have anticipated the global fascination with her daughters. The three sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe have an allure and likeability that has caught the attention of millions: they bicker and squabble and are beautiful and proud of their curves.

They also love fashion; no wonder when they've had countless clothing ventures. Now the famous siblings are bringing their clothing line Kardashian Kollection to our shores – namely the Arcadia-owned brand Dorothy Perkins. Surprisingly, the 100-piece collection, which arrives tomorrow, isn't as in-your-face-LA style as expected. Yes, there are body-con bandage dresses and leopard prints aplenty, keeping fans of Kim's glamorous red-carpet style happy as party season approaches. Kourtney's breezy Bohemian vibe is channelled in softly draped tops and fringed hobo bags. But there's an edge too and echoes of Khloe's more androgynous style, thanks to oversized blouses, city shorts and tailored blazers.
