The Fashion Audit: 14/11/2011
What we love, we're not sure about, we're buying and we can't wait for
We Love: Santal Massoïa
This, the 10th fragrance in the Hermès Hermèssence edition, blends sandalwood with rare Massoia wood to create a warm and somewhat sweet scent. £150 for 100ml, Hermès boutiques
We're not sure about...Myleene manicures
Sometimes celebrity endorsements make perfect sense to The Audit (Kerry Katona pairing up with Iceland, say). But often we're stumped by the connection. We're guessing this pitch was along the lines of: "Myleene Klass has fingernails... let's get her on board."
We're buying...Signature pieces
The clocks have gone back, the Guy is a pile of ashes and the dreaded Starbucks red cups have returned, meaning it's time to face the winter. And how better than in a piece from the brand new cashmere collection from Tanya Sarne's Handwritten label? Cashmere kimono £335, Liberty, 020 7734 1234
We can't wait for...Karl by Karl
Though it could never be said that Karl Lagerfeld, right, doesn't know how to, ahem, diversify his portfolio – he recently endorsed Volkswagen cars on German TV – The Audit can't help but be excited for his mass-market, eponymous line. Due to launch in January, expect rockstar style, including silver jeans.
We can't wait for...Ileana Makri for The Row
The Greek jewellery designer, known for her use of micro-pavé settings – using the smallest size stones to create a blanket of diamonds – has collaborated with the Olsen sisters' label The Row. Mediterranean-inspired pieces include this Evil Eye pendant. £3,945, exclusive to net-a-porter.com
