The Fashion Audit: Fashion war, fishnet shorts, Launer London and famous fragrances

What we love, we're not sure about, we're buying and can't wait for...

We love: Fashion war

Summer months mean road trips to weddings, festivals and beyond. For those who aren't the designated driver, these fashion playing cards are enough to make you wish for a traffic jam. Fashion Face Off, Maia Adams and Erin Petson, £8.95, amazon.co.uk

We're not sure about: Fish-not

Perhaps Rihanna's on-stage sartorial endeavours should come with a "don't try this at home" warning. After Ms Fenton experimented with fishnet shorts at the Hackney weekend The Audit fears for any lesser mortals attempting to follow in her footsteps.

We're buying: Handbags fit for the Queen

Though hers apparently contains nothing more than lipstick and a spare fiver, the Queen's handbag has become a must-have.The company responsible, Launer London, has reported a surge in sales after HM sported three of its designs over the Jubilee weekend. Royale handbag, £1,057, launer.com

We can't wait for: Famous fragrances

Celebrity fragrances rarely seem to have any connection with the spokesperson in question. Lady Gaga's debut olfactory experiment, however, promises to have something of the singer's soul distilled into it as the first black scent promises notes of belladonna, incense and honey drops. The jury's out until it launches in September.

We're visiting: Getting creative

Nine leading London designers pair up with visual artists in order to translate their Olympic vision and raise money for the BFC/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation. Until 29 July, Victoria and Albert Museum, London SW7. Free admission
