We love… Karen's cool

High-street stores usually have a typical customer: Miss Selfridge's are teenyboppers, Coast's are wedding guests, and Karen Millen's are footballer's-wife types. This season the last is shaking off its WAG roots with edgy campaign images shot by David Bailey and styled by Katy England.

We're not sure about… Edible accessories

You've heard of lunch on-the-go, but Kabuto Noodles is taking things to a whole new level. Catering for those without time for a lunch break, a handbag complete with insulated compartment will keep noodles hot, and even comes accessorised with a set of chopsticks. Urm, yum?

We're buying… Painted-on pins

The skinny jean has become a wardrobe staple; no, not for the fairer sex, we're talking drainpipe jeans for boys. With numerous fits, washes and styles, Topman is launching a new campaign, “Spray On”, this week, with the aim to educate and advise on the best way to wear.

We can't wait for… Magpie market

If diamonds are your best friend then Goldsmiths' Fair should be your hangout. Rarely do so many independent jewellery designers come together all in one handy shopping spot. For two weeks the London venue will host a treasure trove of jewels from up-and-coming talents and established names.

We're visiting… McQueen's makeover

Alexander McQueen has had the decorators in at its flagship London store. The store is full of the beloved brand's nature-inspired signatures such as wings and monster claws on furnishings, and plaster panels in the shape of the famous armadillo shoe.

4-5 Old Bond Street, London W1
