We Love: The new satchel

The geek-chic favourite has been knocked off its pedestal by something much more at home with the horsey set. Saddle bags are set to be everywhere this summer, so stand out from the crowd with a neon number.

We're not sure about: Iron Lady-likes

Just because the "Milk Snatcher" look works for Meryl Streep doesn't mean that it's ripe for a renaissance. If only someone would tell that to the unnamed high-street stalwarts that keep on trying to flog pussybow blouses, blue skirt suits and pearl earrings regardless.

We're buying: Shoot the feather

The Audit has something of a soft spot for Leicestershire lad-rockers Kasabian so doesn't really need an excuse to buy their new album. But if it did, the pewter feathers designed by British jewellery brand Dower & Hall included in the limited edition boxset of Velociraptor! would do.

We can't wait for: Rumble in the jumble

Searching for a bargain but don't fancy a 6am start in a muddy field? Then you're in luck as the hugely popular Buy My Wardrobe returns next month when more than 20 women hosting boutique style spaces will invite shoppers to rummage through their designer wares.

4 February, entrance from £5, buymywardrobe.com

We're going back to school for: Fringes of fashion

The Fashion Fringe university roadshow kickstarts in Edinburgh on 12 March, when Christopher Kane will share his career experience and words of wisdom with fashion students and local professionals.

Until 20 March, fashionfringe.co.uk
