The Hollywood actress might be best-known for her Bond Girl bikini or tearful acceptance speeches, but she is also the creator of three highly successful fragrances, bagging her this year's celebrity prize at the FiFi Awards.
Berry, who will receive the award at the ceremony on May 25 in New York, ventured into perfume two years ago with her woody oriental signature scent Halle by Halle Berry. The more floral Pure Orchid and the fresh and light Reveal followed in 2010.
"For years I have created my own personal scents by mixing and layering fragrances, trying to come up with something unique and different," Berry said in a statement. "It's a wonderful form of self-expression and I am thrilled to share these fragrances with consumers worldwide."
The US Fragrance Foundation chooses one celebrity each year that has especially contributed to attracting shoppers to the industry. Past honorees include Paris Hilton and Usher.
