Louis Vuitton's new temple to consumerism, designed by Peter Marino who also built the Paris flagship, features a VIP apartment, an art books library, and installations by the likes of Damien Hirst or Gilbert & George. Oh yes, and there's fashion too: with 1,500 square meters, this palace does not only rival its Paris equivalent, but is also London's biggest single-brand store.

Topshop has opened a flashy, three-level location in Knightsbrisge. Kate Moss's collection as well as exclusive collections from the likes of Mark Fast or Meadham Kirchhoff will be sold here.
70 Brompton Road
Following its Hong Kong and Shanghai openings, Canali has opened its largest store to date in the British capital that will also serve as commercial headquarters and showroom. The boutique will offer all collections of the luxe men's label, including leisure- and sportswear as well as accessories.

American Retro has redesigned its boutiques in the Marais and St Germain districts: on 270 square meters - offering all of the group's brands including American Retro, Zoe Tee's and My Lovely Jean - shoppers can now browse items in an almost gallery-like ambiance.

Hollywood A-listers including Demi Moore helped celebrate the launch of Cartier's first store opening in the Russian city. The extravagant event, which followed a schedule of cocktail reception, gala dinner, and nighttime cruise on the Moika river, demonstrated another brand's focus on the emerging markets.

Soho is now the home of All Saints' first US boutique. While America might be less familiar with the UK brand than Europeans, the store has already gathered raving reviews from local shopping sites.
Sunglass Hut opened a flagship in the Big Apple this month, celebrating with a little help from celebrities such as Linda Evangelista, Pixie Lott, or Alice Dellal. The label also appointed its first ambassador, actress Rachel Bilson. Brands sold in this boutique (and the one in London that also opened this month) include Burberry, Bvlgari, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Persol, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co, Versace, Tory Burch, and Stella McCartney.
