The burlesque dancer is still Teese-ing her fans and keeping info scarce on her upcoming scent but she has told
Women's Wear Daily in an interview that it will include "a lot of luscious flowers - Bulgarian rose, tiare, peony - and there's a sexy wood."
Earlier this year, Von Teese confirmed rumors of her first signature perfume via Twitter, saying she was "isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers," and that there would be "no fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!"
She later explained, also on Twitter: "I want to evoke passion with fragrance....intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance."
Speaking to WWD, she explained: "My signature fragrance that I've been wearing since I was 14 is Quelques Fleurs, and I had to stop wearing it because my boyfriend [Louis Marie de Castelbajac]'s mother wore it...So that was a perfect time to develop my own fragrance."
The fragrance will launch in Australia this fall before being rolled out internationally next year.
