The singer fronts the new autumn/winter campaign
Cher has landed a major fashion gig as the face of the new Marc Jacobs autumn/winter campaign.
The news of the new campaign broke this morning when Katie Grand - editor of Love magazine who also styles the campaigns unveiled the new ad on her Instagram account.
The 69 year old singer is pictured in the campaign shot by David Sims, wearing a long black gown with leather jacket and gloves.
The casting of Cher in the new campaign is not entirely unexpected, given the duo teamed up at this year's Met Gala.
This campaign announcement is the latest in a string of castings with the likes of Joan Didion for Celine, Joni Mitchell for Saint Laurent and Donatella Versace for Givenchy, that has seen the fashion industry embracing diversity of ages
