Curvy model Kate Upton is returning to the big screen for the film The Layover

The 22-year-old model is reportedly starring in the road trip comedy alongside Glee actress Lea Michele

Model Kate Upton will reportedly star in sex comedy The Layover alongside actress Lea Michele.

This would be her second acting job following her part in The Other Woman, where she played the younger mistress of a married man alongside veteran actresses Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.

Upton, who was one of the most searched for models in 2014 and has recently made the headlines for saying the social media “is kind of b******t”, has fronted various fashion and beauty campaigns (she’s the current face of Bobbi Brown), but she’s perhaps most famous for her appearances in Sports Illustrated magazine.

In the road trip comedy, the 22-year-old American model and the Glee star are set to play two best friends who go on holiday to avoid their personal problems, before they both fall in love with the same man.

According to Deadline, the film will be directed by American actor and director William H. Macy, who said: “The minute I met Lea and Kate, the film began to focus for me.

“They are singular, ambitious funny women in full. This is going to be fun,” he told Deadline.
