THE Independent's 'techno- tribal' fashion quiz attracted hundreds of correct entries. The first name drawn out of the hat was Kim Webb, from Notting Hill, London, who wins a Macintosh PowerBook 145 personal computer and a suede and leather carrying case by Rifat Ozbek, both provided by Apple Computer UK.

The five runners-up, who each receive two tickets to Red or Dead's catwalk show next month, were: Rachael Creswick, from Egglescliffe Village, Cleveland; Hugh Michael Girvan, from Fetcham, Surrey; Hazel Abbott, from London W14; Eileen Drapiza, from Muswell Hill, London, and Timothy Walcot, from Chelsea, London.

The correct answers were: 1) Rifat Ozbek; 2) Steven Meisel; 3) Karl Lagerfeld; 4) Kate Moss; 5) Joanna Lumley; 6) Vivienne Westwood; 7) Linda Evangelista; 8) Giorgio Armani; 9) Yves Saint Laurent; 10) 1984.
