It used to be Hollywood's aspiring actresses who carried the infamous 'slash' job titles (and mostly the 'actress/waitress' one) but recently, top models of a new generation have turned into the new mistresses of the slash. Most recent examples: Agyness Deyn, Jessica Stam, Kate Moss, and Brooklyn Decker.

British model Agyness Deyn, who has been very selective with her modeling jobs recently, has just released pictures of her clothing line for Barneys Japan. Called I am Agyness Deyn for Barneys Green, the eco-friendly line consists of dresses, leggings, and knit tops, and will go on sale in Tokyo at Barneys Shinjuku on March 13.

Meanwhile, Jessica Stam has a capsule collection with US designer Rachel Roy in the works, which will be introduced during the next fashion week in New York.

Appearing in movies is just as popular among models as designing, and this week, it was announced that Kate Moss will star alongside the Russian ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov (who played Carrie Bradshaw's boyfriend Aleksandr Petrovsky in Sex and the City) in a short movie. Yes, she will also be dancing ballet, and yes, this will probably look different from her previous dancing for the White Stripes' music video.

In other model/actress news, Sports Illustrated cover star Brooklyn Decker will feature in the upcoming Just Go With It, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, and Nicole Kidman.

Earlier this year, Coco Rocha - who is also the face of the new Rimmel London campaign and just got engaged to her interior designer boyfriend, James Conran - premiered her clothing line Rococo.

She joins a long list of designing models including Kate Moss, who just launched a handbag collection for Longchamp; Heidi Klum, who's designed maternity lines for A Pea in the Pod; Amber Valletta, who released her first line of sportswear with Swedish brand Monrow last year, and Erin Wasson, who works on collections for surf and skate brand RVCA.

Claudia Schiffer told the IHT Luxury Conference in Berlin last year that she, too, is working on her first own fashion range, a collection of cashmere.
