Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Sarah Jessica Parker are all releasing solid, on-the-go versions of their fragrances.

What previously sold in unspectacular tins by beauty brands such as the French L'Occitane is having a glamorous comeback -- fashion brands are packaging their solid, rub-on scents as jewelry.

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, whose new scent SJP NYC was inspired by her Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw, just announced with fragrance manufacturer Coty that a cuff bracelet carrying the solid version of the fragrance, priced at $35, will be released in May, coinciding with the premier of the SATC movie sequel.

The rest of the strawberry-scented SJP NYC collection, priced from $25 to $35, will already be launched in February.

Earlier this month, Michael Kors's Very Hollywood range debuted, including a 'gem solid perfume ring' priced at $40. While the eau de parfum, body lotion, and spray are all available at various international retailers, the ring sells exclusively through Sephora. Very Hollywood smells of mandarin and iced bergamot, jasmine, ylang ylang and raspberry.

Marc Jacobs went for the same accessory for the solid version of his previously launched Lola perfume, which features notes of red grapefruit, fuchsia, peony and vanilla. Priced at $42, the ring is currently only available to Sephora customers but will soon launch on a broader scale.
