According to the
Wall Street Journal, New York's designers proved far more popular among buyers than those in Milan (a 500% increase compared to 22% on average). The Wall Street of online fashion, Stylophane's Facebook fashion index, has the people's vote.
Here are this week's most popular designers showing during one of the four big fashion weeks and their growth rates:
1) Burberry (+2.5 %, 924,497 fans)
2) The Art of Travel by Louis Vuitton (+7.35%, 915,812 fans)
3) Chanel (+7.11%, 720,760 fans)
4) Gucci (+4.77%, 617,213 fans)
5) Ralph Lauren (+4.75%, 610,382 fans)
6) Dolce & Gabbana (+6.13 %, 542,171 fans)
7) Calvin Klein (+3.27%, 407,163 fans)
8) Prada (+5.43%, 375,127 fans)
9) Diesel (+3.39%, 368,867 fans)
9) Yves Saint Laurent (+2.3%, 277,711 fans)
10) Tommy Hilfiger (+5.1%, 251,202 fans)
Divided into four categories (Platinum: more than 100,000 fans, Gold: 10,000 - 100,000, Silver: 1,000 - 10,000, Bronze: 10 - 1,000), Stylophane's rankings are updated daily (and expressed in graphs), and new brands can be added upon request.
