The Uniqlo "mega-store" with the largest floor space, the seventh global flagship outlet of the clothing chain, will open on October 14 on Fifth Avenue, a street lined with global fashion brands, the company said.
Uniqlo operator Fast Retailing Co. also plans to open another "mega-store", its second-largest, on 34th Street, New York, on October 21.
The company currently operates stores in New York's Soho district, London, Paris, Shanghai and Taipei, in addition to Japan.
