Nominees for the annual British Hairdressing Awards - to be held on November 22 in London - have been announced June 23. And while all of them are a creative inspiration to their peers, here are the hairdressers and salons that you can actually call up for an appointment.

Errol Douglas: this is the 14th nomination for the Knightsbridge salon owner Errol Douglas, who has previously won Afro Hairdresser of the Year in 1993, 1995 and 2007.

Akin Konizi: artistic director for the HOB salon group, and the current British Hairdresser of the Year, Konizi also won the title in 2008, making him only the third person in the awards history to win the award for two consecutive years.
