The Zagat To Go application has been enhanced for iPad users with "up-to-the minute Zagat Ratings and Reviews for 40,000 restaurants, nightspots, hotels & shops in your neighborhood and around the world."

Zagat To Go features a GPS to find nearby places worldwide, real-time advanced search, top-rated lists as well as photos and online reservations.

"It is fitting for Zagat to be among the first apps launched on the iPad. Just as Zagat changed the way people thought of restaurant criticism over 31 years ago, the iPad is changing the way people interface with media," said Nina Zagat, Co-Chair of Zagat Survey. "Zagat is still on your coffee table - just in a way you've never imagined."

"It is absolutely critical in today's media landscape for great brands like Zagat to be progressive in delivering their content across new devices, and most importantly to deliver a compelling user experience," said Paul Reddick, CEO of Handmark, the developer of the application.
