A gourmet cookware brand is giving away free frying pans to consumers who download its cooking app.

Though the iPad app Circulon Cooks! was originally released late last month, the company relaunched the giveaway Tuesday because of a technical glitch. The first 4,000 customers in the US who download the app will get a free skillet, shipping included.

The free iPad app includes recipes, ingredient shopping lists and videos demonstrating cooking techniques and tips.

Sample recipes include Chipotle Sloppy Joes, Pepper-Rubbed Porterhouse Steak with Chive Butter and Pan-Seared Salmon with Tomato, Basil and Balsamic Topping.

Circulon is owned by Meyer Corporation, the largest cookware company in the US which also manufactures brands like KitchenAid, Rachael Ray, Paula Deen and Farberware.

Cookware line Cuisinart also has a free iPad app that offers recipe ideas, videos and shopping list features.
