The Groes Inn
'The Groes Inn is one of Wales's oldest pubs, first licensed in 1573,' says Jackie. 'Rambling rooms, beamed ceilings, careworn settles, this inn has plenty to point out, but don't expect a jukebox or pool table. There's lamb and game from nearby estates and varied seafood. Try the seafood pie, fresh market fish or Conwy mussels. The beers are mostly from the Great Orme micro-brewery.'
