Craft beer fans rejoice, independent brewery BrewDog is opening the first in a series of bottle shops where you can saunter around filling up flasks from the taps then take your chosen beers home.

Located at 69 Grays Inn Road just down from Kings Cross, the shop will stock over 250 different beers, offering an alternative to the handful of lukewarm bottles of Sol you might find in your average off licence.

Customers will also be able to fill up takeaway flasks, known as growlers, from the taps on site, and peruse homebrewing equipment and brewing essentials like wet yeast, malt and hops.

Staff will be on hand with advice, all of which will be Cicerone trained.

BrewDog, which currently has 16 bars across the world, is hoping to open up more BottleDogs, which will also host tasting sessions and its Beer School.

The first shop opens on Friday and its opening hours will be Monday to Friday noon til 9pm, and Saturday noon until 8pm. More information over at brewdog.com.
