The company behind brands Marmite and Pot Noodle have come up with a new way to alarm your tastebuds this Easter.

Thanks to Unilever and chocolate film Kinnerton, Marmite and Pot Noodle flavour Easter eggs will be arriving on shop shelves in the UK in February 2015. While most attention seems to be centred around the Marmite version – the Pot Noodle one sounds far more concerning.

Kinnerton’s Rachel Wyatt said: "Easter isn’t just for kids. We want to bring fun to Easter fixtures by using these two iconic brands.

"The Marmite Easter egg, which shoppers will either love or hate, combines Marmite with chocolate."

According to Cadbury, the UK chocolate Easter Egg market is worth around £220 million.

Marmite eggs will be sold in packs of four and priced at around £5 each from February. Pot Noodle eggs will cost £5 for a pack of six.
