30 Minutes or Less- the surprise hit of the summer? : viral video spotlight

A clip for the soon-to-be released movie '
30 minutes or less' has attracted over an incredible two million YouTube views in 48 hours, perhaps suggesting that the movie could prove to be a summer hit.

Due to be released in America on August 12, the off-beat film features actor Jesse Eisenberg ( The Social Network) and was directed by Ruben Fleisher, both of whom were involved with the road-trip / zombie film - Zombieland.

30 Minutes or Less tells the story of Nick (Eisenberg) a pizza delivery man who is kidnapped by two wannabe criminals before having a bomb strapped to his chest and being forced to rob a bank.

With a limited time before the bomb explodes  Nick turns to his former best friend Chet to help him pull off the robbery, however all does not go smoothly and the two find themselves involved with assassins, flamethrowers and the local police force.

An official clip of the movie, uploaded to YouTube on May 25, has, as of 10:30 GMT May 27 attracted 2,338,302 views, and according to YouTube statistics is ‘the number 1 most watched video in the world' on May 27. The instant popularity of the clip suggests that it could prove a hit in America following its August release.
