Watch the event live by streaming it on Apple.com (though you may need to be using Apple's Safari browser), through the iTunes app on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch or through an event app icon on the home screen of Apple TVs.

It takes place at 10am California time (6pm in the UK) at the Flint Centre for the Performing Arts and is expected to see Apple's first foray into wearable tech.
