Consumer electronics products from companies such as HP, Kodak, Microsoft, Sony, GE and HTC have been selected for the Consumer Electronics Association's (CEA) annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Best of Innovations Design and Engineering Awards

From TVs that connect to the internet, alpine goggles with real-time GPS data shown in a head-mounted display, a flexible computer being used as a credit card, a smartphone application that will remotely start your car, to a gaming platform that tracks your every movement so you don't need a controller to play, the CES Best of Innovations Awards are all about highlighting the most innovative products available to consumers now.

The coveted awards were announced on November 9 and "honour outstanding advancements in design and engineering across 35 consumer electronics product categories."
