Current Twitter trends: 'All I want,' 'Sons of Anarchy,' Eid, Willow Smith
Wednesday 08 September 2010
The phrase "#alliwant" is the most talked about topic on Twitter on the morning of September 8.
Microbloggers are sharing their desires and wants with their followers saying, "#alliwant is world peace...," "#alliwant is to b happy" and "The song '#alliwant for Christmas is my two front teeth' is ridiculous. Really? That's all you want? Get better ambitions, failure."
In second and third places are the memes "#dontarguejustacceptit" and "#famososdeantes."
Chatter about the season return of the American TV series Sons Of Anarchy has pushed "Anarchy" and "Sons" into Twitter's most talked about topic list in fourth and tenth places respectively.
"Eid," the shortened name of the Muslim holiday celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan is in fifth place.
Microbloggers are talking about Will Smith's nine-year-old daughter, "Willow" Smith this morning. Twitter users have given the fashion-conscious starlet the nickname "baby Rihanna" after hearing her first single, "Whip My Hair."
In seventh place is the Dutch word for good morning, "Goedemorgen." The term is followed by "Cant Sleep" (as hundreds of Twitter users complain that they are having trouble closing their eyes and nodding off) and "Regen," the German and Dutch word for "rain."
