"#thankful" remains unchanged in second place as people post about the things they are thankful for. "#happythanksgiving" and "Great Thanksgiving" are also trending in the chart in fifth and eighth places.
Twitter users are sharing their tips about Black Friday specials with discount retailer "Wal-Mart" in third place, "Friday Shopping" in seventh place and the names of various shopping "Outlets" in ninth place.
The name of American basketball player "Blake Griffin" is in sixth place.
Microbloggers are talking about American singer Beyoncé's trip to New Zealand and her Thanksgiving TV special with the hashtag "#beyonce." The name of Beyoncé's song "Single Ladies" also makes it into the chart in tenth position.
