Fault Line Episode 2 shows detailed 'Battlefield 3' graphics and sound
Battlefield 3's second gameplay trailer uses another part of the single player campaign to show off its audio and visual sophistication.
"Fault Line Episode II - Good Effect On Target" picks up where the first Battlefield 3 episode left off, with the player's squad heading for the rooftops in an effort to eliminate a nearby sniper.
On display are character animations, particle effects (dust, gas and flying sparks), near-miss flinching, and close proximity blasts that shake head-up displays.
Squadmates exchange weapons, and Battlefield's hallmark destructability is illustrated.
In keeping with the Fault Line trailers' fortnightly release schedule, Episode 3 is set for March 30.
The finished game itself targets an autumn 2011 release date, around the time that annual entries to the best-selling Call of Duty series usually launch.
