Cheaper than taking the ankle-biters for a week

on the slopes of Val d’Isere, Family Ski and

Snowboard might not be quite as thrilling as

seven days in the snow but it’s a hell of a lot

cheaper. Things have moved on from last

year’s Family Ski, thanks to the addition of

some boarding action and some faster-paced

challenges. It’s nowhere near as gnarly as

Shaun White Snowboarding or the Amped

series, but it takes the balance board and

gives it a decent winter sports outing.
