'Game of Thrones' game due September 29

Hit TV series
Game of Thrones has a computer game, and that computer game now has a release date, marking September 29 as the day for would-be rulers to commence their own ascent to the Iron Throne.
A Game of Thrones - Genesis fits into the strategy genre, with players required to flex their political muscle and demonstrate military acumen over a thousand-year-period.
At first glance, it bears some similarity to King Arthur: The Role Playing Wargame, another strategy affair with roots in British myth and legend, whose mini-sequel King Arthur: Fallen Champions is due September 16.
Of course, the Song of Fire and Ice adaptation is obsessed with the accumulation of Prestige, and players must alter their approach to power-mongering during times of peace and war.
The centrality of Prestige was crucial to Solium Infernum, a multiplayer PC game shot through with cunning and deception, and which itself drew inspiration from Game of Thrones' earlier board game incarnation.
