Borderlands 2 loots and shoots its way to all formats chart summit
Gearbox's shooter steals into top spot with F1 2012 and PES 2013 in hot pursuit.
2K Games are celebrating a triumphant debut in the all formats games chart as Borderlands 2, Gearbox’s cooperative FPS makes its debut at the summit.
Following a sweeping ad campaign across print, web and screen that’s perhaps no surprise, the interest will lie in seeing how long Borderlands 2 can hold on with the might of FIFA 13 looming large on the horizon (I’m predicting not too long).
Elsewhere Codemasters will be pleased to see their F1 2012 title steer it’s way into second place, so pipping PES 2013 – which will no doubt come as a disppointment to Konami – while LittleBigPlanet PS Vita’s charting at sixth place should serve as a sign that there’s still life in Sony’s handheld yet.
