Ranking games characters has been a popular sport this week. Both ‘Empire’ and ‘Entertainment Weekly’ have been having a go.
The former picked its top 50 gaming gods – with Gordon Freeman, star of ‘Half-Life’, taking first place. What, no Mario? Meanwhile, ‘Entertainment Weekly’ chose its 100 best characters of the last 20 years (across film, TV and games). Lara Croft, Master Chief, Niko Bellic and Nathan Drake all make an appearance. No sign of my favourite plumber though.
