Games Review: Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City
Wii, Nintendo, £39.99
The first Animal Crossing game for the Wii, Let’s Go to the City is as cute and winning as its predecessors, but gives players more freedom to explore, and if you’re willing to pay extra, the chance to chat to other gamers over the Wii Speak system.
As before, you’ve got to work hard to earn clothes and other extras, but tending to your home is strangely soothing, if light on excitement. There are no huge leaps forward for the series here, but it’s still a charming Wii title.
