Games Review: Bookworm
PopCap Games, PC, £14.95
Friday 07 August 2009
PopCap is the creator of a slew of casual games that are as addictive to play as they are inexpensive to buy. The latest title in their time-wasting arsenal is Bookworm Adventures 2, which mixes the tilebasedwordplay of Bookworm with some RPG-style elements. The result is a spelling game with battles (which, come to think of it, is exactly what Scrabble ends up being every Christmas). It’s not terribly taxing, but the different elements make for entertaining play. For a free trial of the original Bookworm Adventures, head to www.popcap.com.
