£34.99 – £49.99

Format PC, PS3, Xbox 360

Publisher EA

Released in thewake of a slew of big titles, The Saboteur is at risk of being overlooked. You’d be missing out though because, historical inaccuracies aside (it has the Second World War starting a year late), it’s a pretty decent action game in the vein of Grand Theft Auto meets Inglourious Basterds. Playing as Irish rogue Sean Devlin, you must fight Nazi oppression and bring light to monochrome Paris, enlisting the aid of British Intelligence and the French Resistance to pave the way for D-Day, and exacting your own personal revenge along theway. With good – but not stunning – graphics and fun gameplay, it’s a solid addition to the open-world genre.
