It’s time once more for Tiger’s annual console outing, so what does this year’s title have to offer the armchair sportsman?

A similar range of golfing goodies to PGA Tour 08, which does raise the question of whether it is really worth spending up to 50 quid on this update. Well, that depends on how dedicated a fan you are. On the plus side, there are some nicely judged tweaks that see up to four online players getting the chance to play against one another with simultaneous shots, better swing mechanics that work in real-time and the addition of a virtual version of Woods’s real-life coach, Hank Haney, giving gamers tips on how to play. Still one of the finest golf games around.
