Gaming news roundup: Superstar
DJ hits the
decks

There’s less than a month to gountil the launch of ‘DJ Hero’ and news about star signings is coming thickandfast.

Daft Punk, Grandmaster Flash, Cut Chemist and Jazzy Jeff are all in the mix but for sheer chart-topping excellence, the announcement that DJ David Guetta is joining the crew (and providing exclusive download-only mixes for the title) is enough to make dance fans punch the air. And don’t worry about her stepping on Hello Kitty’s paws – both felines are created by Yuko Shimizu so there won’t be any cat fights.

Fancy tackling a game that has a real back story rather than a half-hearted collection of characters linked with awful dialogue? Try one of Enter the Story’s low-budget but high-concept adaptations, which see classic literature transformed into pointand- click adventures. So far, the tomes to have been given the treatment are Dante’s ‘Inferno’ (pictured below) and ‘Les Misérables’, and more are scheduled for release by the end of the year.
