'GLiD' wins SXSW Independent Propellor Awards

Ingenious exploration game
GLiD took the top prize at South by Southwest's ScreenBurn Arcade awards show, with five other titles scooping trophies during the event.
The Grand Prize net $50,000 (€36k) for Bournemouth University's Marco Marino and Matthew Thomas.
Only two weeks prior, GLiD had been on display at the Game Developers Conference as one of eight IGF Student Showcase winners.
Best Art went to The Uncanny Fish Hunt, Skinny won Best Audio, Creo clinched the award for Technical Excellence, and Best Design was given to Chewy.
Another IGF Student Showcase alumni, Tiny and Big, was given the Unity prize, and Deep Sea won in the Intel category.
PC versions of The Uncanny Fish Hunt, Tiny and Big, Creo, and Chewy, along with Mac game Deep Sea, can be downloaded for free from IndiePubGames.com.
