Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will be one of the first games on Sony's new portable console, currently known as the NGP, with Warner Bros. Interactive targeting a launch between October and December 2011.
It becomes one of just a few third-party titles confirmed for the system ahead of a Sony presentation at E3 on June 6.
A variety of Sony's own franchises were announced back in January, during the PlayStation Meeting at which the NGP was publicly revealed.
Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, Resistance and WipeOut were among the most high-profile names.
In terms of non-Sony properties, Activision threw their hat into the ring with a new Call of Duty teased, and an NGP version of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4 was shown.
Sega had Yakuza: Of The End on display, Capcom brought Lost Planet 2, Trendy Entertainment's Dungeon Defenders was there as was Clap Hanz' Hot Shots Golf.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, developed by Travellers Tales, will also launch on Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Wii, Sony's PlayStation 3 and PSP, Microsoft's Xbox 360, and on Windows PCs.
