'Lego Star Wars III' game pushed back from February to March
Tuesday 01 February 2011
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars has been further delayed, this time from mid-February to late March, so there's a little longer to save up the necessary pennies - but at least it's not another three months, as November 2010's previous postponement had been.
The game is now due March 22 in North America and March 25 in Europe, for Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, as well as the portable DS and PSP.
The move means that Lego Star Wars III avoids a release date clash with the similarly all-age De Blob 2, bouncing onto Wii, DS, 360, PS3 on February 22 (February 25 in Europe).
Instead, it coincides with PlayStation 3 game PlayStation Move Heroes.
BioWare, developers of PC online game Star Wars: The Old Republic are still shooting for a spring 2011 release date, which means that the LEGO game could yet coincide with SWTOR's long-awaited debut.
