Island Paradise are running promotions related to America's Thanksgiving Day, whilst Zynga is also busy pushing the rest of its stable with limited-availability items or new content.
Some of Zynga's other games such as Café World, FishVille, Mafia Wars and FarmVille are all among the day's fastest-growing applications and the most popular Facebook games overall.
CrowdStar, the company behind Happy Aquarium, has staved off Zynga's competing fish-themed game FishVille by adding a new fish, some in-game gifts, and a competition that ends November 25.
The Facebook games with the biggest increases in daily active users on November 24 at 15:00 GMT are:
1. FarmVille (26,507,945 = +1,042,427 / 4.0%)
2. Café World (10,374,304 = +422,587 / 4.0%)
3. FishVille (6,484,616 = +346,898 / 5.4%)
4. Farm Town (5,627,096 = +314,619 / 5.6%)
5. Happy Aquarium (8,063,939 = +223,940 / 2.8%)
6. Mafia Wars (6,886,706 = +163,223 / 2.4%)
7. Island Paradise (1,983,767 = +119,639 / 6.0%)
8. Bejeweled Blitz (3,090,284 = +115,452 / 3.7%)
9. Roller Coaster Kingdom (2,684,778 = +88,322 / 3.3%)
10. Fish World (2,350,040 = +87,002 / 3.7%)
