Uncharted 4: First DLC released for biggest selling PlayStation game of 2016

The update will include a range of updates that players have been asked for since the game was released in May, according to developers

Uncharted 4 is set to get its first major update since it was released in May.

Developers Naughty Dog will push the update – which includes a patch as well as the first downloadable content – to players on 29 June.

It’s set to include updated content like the first new, free map that’s sent out to players. It will also include updates that players have been asking for, the developers said.

“We’re just scratching the surface by saying it includes new guns, new boosters, new taunts, new skins, custom matches, custom loadout names, a revamp to Ranked Team Deathmatch, and more!” wrote developers Naughty Dog in a blog post revealing the new update.

The range of updates will include one secret change that developers haven’t yet released. “There’s one in particular we won’t reveal here, but you can probably guess what it is if you’ve been tracking what is likely the most requested new feature by our community,” developers wrote.

Uncharted 4 is by many measures the most successful PlayStation 4 game in recent years, and perhaps ever. As well as being the best selling game released this year, it’s also come out to strong reviews.
