During the week of February 15 technology enthusiasts and mobile specialists will gather at the Mobile World Congress for a four-day event that examines cutting-edge mobile trends, innovative new technology and showcases an exhibition of the hottest new products and concept designs from the top mobile companies in the field. In Japan, microscopic technology and its impact on green technology will be investigated on a macroscopic scale at the International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference.

GSMA Mobile World Congress

This four-day event is dedicated to cutting-edge mobile technology. There is a full program of conferences, keynotes and panel discussions that runs alongside an exhibition of hottest new products and concept designs from the top mobile companies in the field. The Mobile World Congress Awards Ceremony pinpoints leaders and innovators at the forefront of the mobile industry. In 2009 the event attracted around 47,000 industry members from more than 180 countries.

The sixth annual Engadget Awards highlight the greatest technology products unveiled during 2009 and detects the most anticipated gadgets of 2010. Nominations for the awards have been selected by the public and a list of finalists is already up on the Engadget website. Voting for the finalists in 24 categories – including but not limited to gadget of the year, worst gadget of the year, smartphone of the year, robot of the year, wearable device of the year and e-reader of the year - is open until Monday February 20th, 11:59 PM EDT.

CeBIT 2010

In 2009, 4,300 exhibitors from 69 countries and more than 400,000 visitors made their way to Hannover for CeBIT. 2010's event is expected to be even bigger. Visitors to the world's largest digital IT and telecommunications event will be able to take part in a forum of "international networking, knowledge transfer and trend-setting." CeBIT 2010 highlights will include a new "Next Level 3D" floor space, international demonstrations of green technologies and a new presentation called "Advanced Office & Conference Solutions."

The awards ceremony, familiarly referred to as the 'Golden Globes of Twitter' will take place on March 3 in New York for the second year.
