Pokémon Global Link to launch April 13
Tuesday 12 April 2011
Pokémon Global Link, a website that connects players and their
Pokémon Black and
White teams, is to launch on April 13, at which point the two titles' Game Sync service will become available.
It had been due March 30 but was delayed following Japan's March 11 earthquake and its aftermath.
The Global Link function will allow Pokémon Black and Pokémon White players to compare their progress, and join the Pokémon Global Battle Union in order compete against other trainers and their teams.
There's also a Dream World to explore with more Pokémon to befriend.
Previous Pokémon titles implemented a similar wifi feature called the Global Terminal or Global Trade Station.
