'Saints Row: The Third' to fulfill all your ludicrous gang violence needs
Wednesday 20 April 2011
Tanks, helicopters, gun-toting mexican wrestlers, space suits and uzi-aided parachute jumps. It's all in a day's work for members of the Third Street Saints, as the game's latest screenshots would have us believe.
The game, due out late 2011, builds on the exaggerated style of previous entries to the Saints Row series, and looks to make the most of its opportunity in the absence of a new Grand Theft Auto.
Though GTA V is not currently expected until at least 2012, the game's creators at Rockstar are busy enough promoting LA Noire for May and teasing Max Payne 3 for who-knows-when, while Ubisoft has been dropping heavy hints about another Assassin's Creed game appearing before the year is out.
