Smuggler's run detailed in trailer for Star Wars MMO
Tuesday 13 September 2011
For those that play
Star Wars: The Old Republic in the guise of a Smuggler, they'll be able to choose between the paths of a Gunslinger and Scoudrel.
Each path comes with a distinct set of skills that unlock as the character progresses.
The Smuggler class should be familiar to anyone that would recognize Han Solo from the Star Wars films - cocky, confident, and quick-thinking.
The Scoundrel is shown hurling grenades, unleashing a burst-fire pistol attack, delivering a knockout punch, and shielding teammates with healing and invisibility.
Gunslingers gain misdirection abilities, can wield two pistols at once and, eventually, obtain a portable blockade that keeps enemies at bay.
PC game Star Wars: The Old Republic is expected to open its doors to the general public late in 2011, adding more players as capacity increases - just as World of Warcraft did in 2004.
