Steam's biggest ever 'free weekend' offers 10 games at no cost including XCOM and Trine
Gamers will also be able to purchase titles they enjoyed at a discount
Good news for PC gamers. This weekend gaming platform Steam is unveiling its largest ever “free weekend” promotion, allowing users to play ten recent titles for (you guessed it) free.
The promotion starts at 10am Pacific Time in the US or 6pm tonight for UK gamers, with the games – including Company of Heroes 2, Payday 2 and XCOM: Enemy Unknown – free to play until Monday.
Even better, anyone who tries the games and likes them can purchase them permanently at a discounted price. Excited? Check out the full list of available titles below:
- Awesomenauts
- Blade Symphony
- Company of Heroes 2
- Don't Starve
- Grid 2
- Injustice: Gods Among Us
- Killing Floor
- Payday 2
- Trine 2
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown
You can check out our review of team-based alien shooter XCOM here, described as "a tense, terrifying and beautifully poised game of tactical alien hunting."
