The Sims 3 is to make its way to Nintendo 3DS during the handheld console's launch window, joining over twenty-five titles including Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort, and likely to feature Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, Rabbids 3D and Super Street Fighter IV.
The 3DS version of The Sims 3 will be able to use facial recognition to make Sims versions of players or their friends.
The 3DS' StreetPass function means that Sims can be easily shared when players meet or even pass each other by.
The 'launch window' lasts from the 3DS' retail debut (March 25 in Europe, March 27 in North America) until ten weeks later, when an important video games conference called the Electronic Entertainment Expo takes place June 7-9.
Neither Nintendo's European or American branches have confirmed exactly which titles will comprise the launch line-up, and although an announcement is expected in the near future, it is for now up to third party publishers to reveal the games that will make it to market first.
