Henry Winkler, a man best known for playing the role of "The Fonz" on the popular TV series
Happy Days, has been awarded an honorary Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his work helping young children with dyslexia.
People are using their 140 characters to congratulate The Fonz on his award and are writing, "Henry Winkler came to my dyslexic daughter's school. She loved him. Total #hero," "I used to enjoy watching Happy Days as a kid (who didn't fancy Joanie); so well done to Henry Winkler #news OBE The Fonz" and "Henry Winkler receives honorary OBE for work re dyslexia. Microbloggers are debating over who would win a fight between vampires and zombies but so far wizards seem to be winning.
On the morning of September 15, Twitter’s trending topic list is topped by the hashtags "#sunnyfx" - a promoted term for the new season of US TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, premiering September 15, "#UKnowUHungryWhen" "#DrakeCriesWhen" and "#gritosmexicanos."
"Please be mine" is in fifth place, the American film " Get Rich Or Die Tryin" is in seventh place and the third-person shooter "Gears (of War) 3" is in tenth place as gamers post their micro reviews and count down to the release of the video game.
